Import vehicles from a CSV file

The columns the import reads, the limits it checks, and what happens to each row.

Open Vehicles, choose Import, and drop a CSV file. Itidem checks every row before anything is stored.

Columns

plate, make, model, trim, year, body, colour, paint_finish, wheels, glass, packages, badges, wheelbase_m, tyre_diameter_m, length_m, notes. Any order, any case. An unknown column refuses the file.

Limits

  • Up to 1,000 rows per file.
  • The same required fields and limits as the new-vehicle form.
  • A row with any error gives no record.

After the import

Each vehicle waits in the list as “Photos needed”. Start it when its photos are in. Credits are held only when you start it.
