Each angle is checked against its clearest photo
The checks no longer compare every angle with your first photo. Itidem reads which side each photo shows, and picks the clearest one for each angle.
Checks
A generator can fix the background and quietly lose the car. Itidem checks every render, compares its paint and its car with the photo you shot, and shows you each verdict in plain words.
Every candidate runs frame, plate, paint and identity. A render that fails is tried again or stops, and never costs a credit.

What the checks said about this render:
The render has to land exactly on the 2528×1696 listing grid. Any other size is rejected.
Itidem covers the plate with a blank one, then rejects a render that still shows a band or characters.
Compares the body colour with your photo. On black, grey, silver and white it says “not checked”: there, only lightness separates two paints, and lightness does not compare between a photo and a studio render.
Compares the whole car with your photo. It catches a different car, not a different model year. The Taycan render scored 0.792 against a pass mark of 0.300; the same check on a BMW i5 photo scored 0.163.
A rejected render goes back with the reason attached.
The same complaint three times in a row ends the loop.
A check that could not look says so, and a person decides.
Only someone on your account turns Ready into Approved.
| Question | With Itidem | Without a check |
|---|---|---|
| The car matches your photo | Identity, with its score | Not known |
| The colour matches your photo | Paint, or “not checked” | Not known |
| No plate band or characters | Plate, after the cover | Not known |
| On the listing grid | Frame, 2528 × 1696 | Not known |
| Says when it could not look | Yes, and a person decides | Not known |
| A failed attempt costs you | Nothing | Not known |
Four checks, in this order. Frame: the render lands on the 2528×1696 listing grid. Plate: no band or characters are left. Paint: the body colour matches your photo. Identity: the whole car matches your photo.
Paint and identity show the number they measured and the mark they needed. Frame and plate say what they found.
On black, grey, silver and white, only lightness separates two paints, and lightness does not compare between a photo and a studio render. The check says so instead of guessing, and a person decides.
No. It compares the whole car, so it catches a different car, not a different model year of the same one. Check the front end yourself when the year matters, for example on a facelift.
It is tried again with the reason attached. The loop stops when every check passes, when a check cannot look, when the same complaint comes back three times in a row, or when the image budget for the angle is spent.
A stopped angle goes to a person. You can give it one more attempt.
No. A render that fails a check costs nothing. The images Itidem spends to get an angle through the checks are our cost, never yours.
One credit is one delivered angle, whichever part of Itidem it runs through.

Pass and fail are not enough. When a check has nothing to compare against, it answers “not checked”, and a person decides.
