A check can say it could not look

Pass and fail are not enough. When a check has nothing to compare against, it answers “not checked”, and a person decides.

If no photo shows the front of the car, nothing can check the front of the render. A check that reports success there is how a wrong front end reaches a listing: it said yes because it never looked.

So every check has a third answer. “Not checked” is not a soft rejection. It is the absence of evidence, and it stops the loop for a person.
